Camilla is the Director-General (Community) and the co-founder of EPA Asia. She has a long career in the financial technology industry and often talks about coming home when she started her work in the payments industry. Payments is the part of the financial service’s that touches people’s lives every day, and through EPA Asia work lives can be improved. The payments industry offered her an opportunity to combine her passion for fintech and humanitarian questions.
She is loving her role where she can combine intellect, creativity with enthusiasm and energy to connect people, create opportunities and ideas from the apparently abstract connections she sees between situations, businesses, problems and people. When she was twelve months into setting up EPA Asia she was approached and asked the question why there were so few women involved in the program. She was taken by surprise. Running fast and creating on the go, she had forgotten to reflect if the people they engaged were male or female. She there and then set the goal of reaching a 50% gender balance in the association.
Project Meet-Her started as a series of lunch events with the goal to involve female thought leaders in the EPA Asia agenda. COVID-19 forced EPA Asia to adopt the program, it has evolved and is now an online event series which will result in a book – Meet Her – She knows Payments.
Jennifer is an experienced banker and a life-long learner who has a passion for finance and a talent for communications. Since 2016 she has been actively involved in the Australian fintech ecosystem and is proud to be a Mentor at Stone & Chalk in Sydney.
Professionally, Jennifer is an advocate for innovation is financial services, including digital banking, fintech solutions and strategic partnerships. She enjoys thinking about how contemporary issues will shape tomorrow’s financial services landscape, for example, the future life and work, conduct risk and culture, and sustainable development.
Andrea Dunlop is an international Executive, angel investor and non-executive Director. She was formerly CEO of Merchant Acquiring, a UK/ EU regulated business she established in 2013 for the Paysafe Group. With in-depth knowledge across many aspects of payments; Andrea is highly-regarded in the payments industry; she has been named one of ‘Most Influential Women in Payments in 2018’, Banking Technology’s ‘Woman in PayTech’ in 2018, ‘Payments Pioneer’ by the UK Payment Awards, voted in Payments Power 10, a list of the top ten influential contributors to the payments industry in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Andrea is the Chairwoman of the Emerging Payments Association’s Advisory Board; Board member of the European Women in Payments Network. She also sits on several industry forums including the Payment Systems Regulator in the UK. She is a passionate speaker and supporter of diversity and inclusion, as well as financial inclusion, championing and challenging the industry to deliver better financial products for the benefit of all.
Prior to joining Paysafe, Andrea ran her own consultancy in the financial services and payments sectors. Previous to that Andrea served 13 years in the Royal Air Force.
John Ryan, is the co-founder of EPA Asia in 2018. He is a qualified Management Accountant with over 25 years of wide ranging fintech experience in capital markets and investor communications. He held many roles, but mainly as regional Asia Pacific strategy head.
He is across a wide array of financial services technologies including: proxy voting, payments, investor communication and developments in blockchain technology. Drawing from a deep strategic business experience across the Australasian region to lead EPA Asia policy.
John is also the co-founder of Suite2Go.
Yuchen is the project manager of EPA Asia and is coordinating both projects and events such as round table and insight tours. She is heavily involved in EPA Asia’s research projects and the academic relationships.
Yuchen joined the team as an intern during the associations foundation year and has since become an employ valued for her sound critical thinking and her ability to always come with bright idea. She enjoys bringing idea combined with information technology and finance , as a information technology postgraduate student, in addition to an undergraduate background in business analytic and finance.
Niamh is the social media manager of the Meet-Her She Knows Payments project, overseeing content creation and digital strategies across Instagram and LinkedIn. She is a highly creative and passionate individual with the ability identify a brands purpose and core values to deliver a unique and authentic social media presence.
Niamh joined EPA Asia as a marketing and social media intern, and has since led the creation and building of a unique social media presence for Meet-Her She Knows Payments and EPA Asia, to drive awareness and engagement.
Monica is the project intern of the Meet-Her She Knows Payments project, assisting with research for Meet-Her book and communicating with female leaders in the payment industry. She joined EPA this year and enjoys working with EPA since it provided her with an opportunity to have Holistic view and engagement of fintech and payment space since she will be able to communicate with female thought leaders across the world who really know the business inside and she could hear latest issues from those key people.
Mukesh is an Information Technology graduate from Southern Cross University, Melbourne. He is working as a Software Developer Intern at EPA Asia. Mukesh joined EPA Asia in the year 2021 and has been responsible for development of the EPA Asia and Meet-Her She Knows Payments website. He is currently working on the Meet-Her She Knows Payments Project.
